Challenge Team: Up close and Personal in Tondo, Manila, Philippines
“We are getting up close and personal with reality inside the city,” said Jacques Classen (Namibia). Jacques was leading a team which stayed for three weeks in the district of Tondo in Manila. The team met some of the poorest of the city’s poor, people who didn’t have enough to eat, and shared their own stories with them.
